Have you ever heard about birthstone? Well, it is first time for me either to hear about these beautiful little thingy.
Birthstones are actually gemstones that accompany a birth month, each having a unique meaning and historical significance. The popularity of birthstones dates back to ancient times when civilizations believed that gemstones had incredible powers such as luck, health and prosperity. Traditionally, each month is associated with a single gemstone, but there are some exception where a few months that have multiple birthstones.
Since I'm born in September, so mine is Sapphire which is blue in colour.
Sapphire, the birthstone of September, is most desired in its pure, rich blue color but is present in almost every color including pink, yellow and green. In the Middle Ages the gem was believed to protect those close to you from harm and also represented loyalty and trust.
So, what's yours?

1455 kilometers, 904 miles,
away from home,
away from family,
away from "my cats".

Maybe home is nothing,
but there are always two arms that holding you tight
when you're at your worst.

I've grown so close to people I thought I'd never talk to and
I've drifted away from people I thought I'd be close to forever.
